Terms of Service

Last updated: 25 August 2026

These Terms govern your use of quizpio.com (the “Site”) and any paid plans offered through it. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. Questions? Email [email protected].

Who we are

Quizpio is operated by Arafat Bin Sultan, a sole proprietor based in Bangladesh. Contact email: [email protected]. In these Terms, “we,” “us,” and “our” mean Arafat Bin Sultan.

1. The Quizpio plugin

The core Quizpio WordPress plugin is free and open-source software, licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later (GPLv2). Your use of the plugin is governed by that license. These Terms govern the Site itself and any paid plans offered through it.

Quizpio Pro, our paid add-on, is also licensed under GPLv2 or later. A paid plan is therefore a subscription to downloads, updates and support for the duration of the licence period — not a licence to use the code itself, which the GPL already grants you. If a plan lapses, the software you have continues to work; what stops is access to new versions and to support.

2. Communications

You may submit your email address to receive product updates from us. You are responsible for providing accurate information, and you can unsubscribe at any time. If you buy a paid plan, we will also email you about your purchase, your licence, and renewals; these are service messages rather than marketing, and they continue for as long as your plan is active.

3. Paid plans

Quizpio Pro is sold through Polar Software, Inc., which acts as the merchant of record and reseller for every purchase. This means your purchase contract for billing, invoicing and tax purposes is with Polar, and your card statement will show Polar Software, Inc. rather than Quizpio. Polar issues your receipt, collects and remits any applicable sales tax or VAT, and processes refunds. We remain responsible for the software itself and for supporting you.

Paid plans are annual subscriptions, priced by the number of sites the licence covers, and renew automatically until cancelled. Current pricing and plan contents are shown on our Pro page and at checkout. Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Your purchase is also subject to Polar’s own buyer terms, which you accept at checkout.

4. Licence keys and activations

Each paid plan issues a licence key that may be activated on a set number of sites. The plugin checks that key with Polar when you activate, re-check, or deactivate it, as described in our Privacy Policy. You may move a licence between sites at any time by deactivating one site and activating another; there is no charge for doing so.

Please keep your licence key private. You are responsible for activations made with your key, and we may deactivate a key that is being shared beyond the number of sites your plan covers. If your plan ends, is refunded, or is cancelled, the key stops validating and access to updates and support ends — but, as set out in section 1, the software you already have keeps working.

5. Support

Support for paid plans is provided by email at [email protected] while your plan is active. We aim to reply promptly, but we do not offer a guaranteed response time. Support covers the plugin itself; it does not extend to your hosting, your theme, other plugins, or custom code, though we will help where we reasonably can.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Site, including by attempting to disrupt it, accessing it without authorization, or using it for any unlawful purpose.

7. Intellectual property

The “Quizpio” name, logo, and Site content are owned by us or our licensors. The source code of both plugins is licensed under GPLv2 as described in section 1. Trade marks are not licensed by the GPL, so you may not use our name or branding in a way that implies endorsement without our permission.

8. Disclaimers

The Site and the plugin are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free. The plugin’s warranty terms are set by the GPLv2 license.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or the plugin.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

10. Third-party links and services

The Site may link to third-party websites or services that we do not control and are not responsible for. Paid plans depend on Polar, whose availability and terms are outside our control; we may change merchant of record in future, and will update these Terms if we do.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time; the “last updated” date above will change. Continued use of the Site means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, and the courts of Bangladesh have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

If you are a consumer resident in another country, nothing here deprives you of the protection of any mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the law of the country where you live.
